➤ Gear Swap for Good is an annual fundraising and gear swap event hosted and benefited by Flathead Rivers Alliance and Montana Kayak Academy. Donate your well-cared-for river and snow gear to the swap, or come sell it yourself and donate a portion of the sale to their missions.

Any gear for river is welcome! Small or large, new or used, it must be in good condition and safe to use.

Bring donations to The Rendezvous starting at 9 AM on the day of the event.

Or make arrangements to donate gear in advance, by emailing dave@montanakayakacademy.com or 406-270-1553 .

You can also show up during the swap 11 AM - 3 PM to sell your gear yourself, and donate some (or all) of the proceeds.

We will have a free pile!

Gear and cash donations will be split between our non-profit partners, Flathead Rivers Alliance and Montana Kayak Academy. Thank you for supporting our missions!

Flathead Rivers Alliance supports and enhances the outstanding and remarkable Three Forks of the Flathead River, while ensuring access and enjoyment for all. The river system has the significance of inspiring the idea of a National Wild and Scenic Rivers System and contributing 85% of the water entering Flathead Lake.

Montana Kayak Academy provides free certified whitewater kayak instruction to youth; instilling confidence, respect and river stewardship.
