2024 West Glacier Elementary Stream Ecology Program

Honored to have partnered with West Glacier Elementary School for a 3rd year of stream ecology programming. Students K-6th grade participated in our Spring 2-day stream ecology + river safety program that wrapped with the creation of this Flathead Wild & Scenic River mural. During the month of July, 24,200 people checked-out the school’s art installation at Imagine IF Libraries Columbia Falls location. It captures what they learned about the 3 Forks of the Flathead River and their thoughts about the river's future.

Funding from The Forest Service - Flathead National Forest, 2023 Great Fish Community Challenge, Glacier Raft Company roundup program and annual donor support continues to make this program possible.
