Flathead Rivers Alliance paddle float through the Night of Lights Parade

Friday, Dec. 2, 2022

Flathead Rivers Alliance and Flathead Conservation District made inaugural float appearance during Columbia Falls annual Night of Lights Parade. It was a chilly evening, but worth it to pull our river gear out of storage to be greeted by so many eager parade attendees. We had the chance to debut our new reusable waters cleanup bags during festivities and look forward to giving them out for use in 2023 through annual Flathead Waters Cleanup, River Ambassadors, shops, and other events. Huge thanks to our volunteers that made this year’s float a reality!

Volunteers: Gordon Ash, D.J. & Ell Zor, Megan Parsley, Lee Jester, Warren Lane, Joe Basirico, Josh Gubits, Soren & Hazel Fisher, Danny McIntosh, Flannery & Yuki Coats
