Glacier Raft Company’s Promise to Place Program Gives Flathead Rivers Alliance a Boost

Since 2022, Flathead Rivers Alliance has been the recipient of Glacier Raft Company's Promise to Place program. Glacier Raft Company wants to work and play with people who value authentic interactions and a deeper knowledge of the world around us. Their Promise to Place program ensures we manage our impact on the environment, foster respect for the people and our communities. Clients opt in a donation to FRA with their bookings. Unique donor programs like this help boost our mission work on the Flathead Wild & Scenic River.

Glacier Raft Company has been an incredible supporter of our River Ambassador and River Citizen Science volunteer program both donating a training venue at their Glacier Outdoor Center- Bear Den, but also hosts FAM floats for our River Ambassadors each summer to help familiarize them with features on the whitewater section of the Middle Fork, answer any river safety awareness questions, and provide additional facts about the Flathead Wild & Scenic River system. They also boost our river ethics program by donating wag bags to our River Ambassador program that we can distribute to river users.

Established in 1976, Glacier Raft Company empowers visitors and locals to explore the pristine wilderness of Montana's famous Flathead River. Glacier Raft Company is part of Pursuit’s Glacier Park Collection, offering rafting experiences on the scenic Middle Fork and North Fork of the Flathead River.
